Fun with Dick and Jake

Sharks coach Dick Muir said that he and Springbok coach Jake White had “kissed and made up” following the national coach’s recent trip to help the Cats that had angered the Sharks mentor.

Speaking on SuperSport’s Boots&All programme on Thursday night he laughed that, “Jake and I have kissed and made up.”

“No,” he continued, “there were no real issues between us. But he understood our concerns and he backed off. He could really have made a difference at the Cats. And they are a team that really needs it.”

Muir said that while he understood that White believed he was acting in the best interest of SA rugby, the problem was that all SA team’s are still threatened by the relegation issue and the timing of his SOS mission to the Cats was poor.

“The timing was a problem, that’s all. It was not good,” added Muir.

**** was just afraid that Jake would have shown the alck of coaching talent that all SA teams have.

no worries Jake, coach your boks to glory and let these pretenders continue “coaching” their teams to relegation.

Rugga, I think the rule is that you can swear and Tackler, Fester and the other coaches, but not at each other…

There is only one English coach in the SA S14 and the rest are ********. And his team is the only one playing decent Rugby.

Makes you think how well the old boys club (broeder bond)is doing…….

BB, to support your view look at the English Bok coach record vs Afrikaans Bok coach records.

Ian Mac, NM, JW, Kitch vs RS, Markies etc.

But for the sharks it is still early days and what SA team has the most points this year and last year? I just think that Campese has really made a difference at the sharks this year.

Guys, **** has fair reason to *****. Fair enough the Cats taking Jake up on his offer but why do it before you play another South African franchise? What would people say if the Stormers pulled in the national coach before they played the Bulls or the Cheetahs did it before a derby match? As **** said, it’s just the timing we had an issue with. Fair enough if you ask me.

BB, what marvelous intellect you are showing! What about Heyneke Meyer, isn’t his team above the Sharks on the log?

  • 15. JasonReply to this comment :

wespa531 they may be but with there BORING brand of rugby they deserve to be last

  • 16. wlsReply to this comment :

wesp531 Bulls are above, but you cant question who has played a better game.
And the season is not over yet. I wouldent be suprised if the sharks come out top of the SA S14 sides

Have your say
