Kamp Staaldraad on DVD

A new Kamp Staaldraad DVD, to be released on Monday, promises to give the “naked truth” about the pre-World Cup boot camp.
The DVD has been produced by Adriaan Heyns, former leader of the police’s special task force and the brains behind the camp.
Heyns says he decided to make the DVD available to the public after reading about the camp in Corne Krige’s autobiography.
“Corne’s description was not accurate and I want to set the record straight,” he told Rapport newspaper. “He used the camp to promote his book.”
Heyns said he planned to present a proposal to SA Rugby (through his company Pro-Tech International) that would see millions of rands allocated to arranging similar camps for SA U19 and U21 sides, as well as the country’s Super 14 franchises.
The Kamp Staaldraad DVD was filmed by video operator Dale McDermott, who committed suicide when photos of the camp were released to newspapers. Certain Bok players, including Joost van der Westhuizen, blamed McDermott for the leak.

So we are now expected to trust this oke who stands to benefit financially from making these camps look like a positive exercise to tell us the truth about kamp staldraad and to boot he is trying to market these camps to sarfu. These guys are just plain and simple STUPID!After all that happened you would think that would use what little brains they have and try not to mention the fiasco again. Most of the rugby fans cringe when it is mentioned, but here they are trying to make money out of it. Only Joost seems to have enjoyed the experience [ especially the nude scences with the youngsters in the water, don't drop the soap]. But then he would say” just think how much worse we would have done at the WC if we didn’t go to Staaldraad”.

Well the DVD has been stopped by Sa Rugby with an interdict order, website should be down soon, so that will give back some dignity to young players who will do anything for the jersey, were tricked a step too far. hopefully it all goes to bed now.

just to let you all know dale mcdermott did not comit suicide because of the photo’s being released!

has anyone thought of the pain his family has gone through already without this new dvd coming out and dragging his name through the mud again if anything is said it should be thanking dale for getting a **** coach fired and showing the public what the springboks were capable of when jake first took over
