Eddie’s Reds rock Tahs

Eddie Jones has finally won a game again, his Reds team thumping rivals New South Wales in the Australian Provincial Championship.

The Reds, hammered by the Force a week ago, scored six tries to two in a 39-17 victory. On Saturday the Brumbies had dealt with the Force to go top of the table.

Peter Hewat gave the Waratahs an early lead, but the Reds scored 39 unanswered points before two late tries flattered the Tahs.

The Brumbies have eight points from two matches, with the Reds and Force level on five points. The Tahs have just one point with one round of matches to go.

    Well doesnt it show us that Queensland has the players after losing so much other talent to other states, but just needs abit more eperience and a few Xfactor forwards then I believe will be true contenders for Super titles……Eddie Jones is a good coach even if he does not understand all about rugby because sometimes he can really put his mouth in the wrong department…..Congrats Queensland

    I wouldn’t read too much into this, the Reds were missing 5 players from their S14 side – Latham, Barnes, Cordingley, Holmes and Blake. The ‘tahs were missing their entire forward pack plus Sheehan, Valentine, Rogers, Tuqiri. A loss is a loss and the guys in the sky blue should have done better than they did.

    Gold Coaster are you on drugs those states would get flogged by the force , tahs, brumbies and reds reserves.

    this goes to show the tahs don’t have the depth that they think they have. the reds have got the talent no doubt it’s just they lift for these games against the tahs. the tahs have only beaten the reds twice i think in super rugby.

    interest game next with the reds they haven’t beaten us in years
