Auckland demolished Otago 48-7 in their New Zealand Cup match at Eden Park on Saturday.
The home side scored six tries to one, with All Black midfielders Sam Tuitupou and youngster Isaia Toeava terrorising the Otago defence.
Auckland led 20-0 at half-time, thanks to two tries from Isa Nacewa and Taniela Moa and four shots at goal from Brent Ward. Three tries in the final 25 minutes of the match rounded off the win.
