Otago hammer Harbour
Ranfurly Shield holders North Harbour were dumped out of the Air New Zealand Cup quarter-finals, just a week after being humiliated by Waikato.
On Sunday Otago set up a semi-final against Waikato in Hamilton with a crushing 56-21 win against Harbour. The fact that Otago won away from home will give them confidence that victory in Hamilton is possible.
The visitors scored seven tries to three and led 36-0 at halftime.
Scorers
North Harbour: Rudi Wulf, Rua Tipoki, Anthony Tuyitavake tries; Tusi Pisi 3 con.
Otago: Toby Morland, Karne Hesketh, Adam Thomson, Callum Bruce, Matt Saunders, Craig Clare, James Ryan tries; Nick Evans pen 4 con, Callum Bruce 2 pen, 2 con.

Yes … he should rather approach SA teams and try and play in the Super 14. That way, maybe he could still sneak into the World Cup.
And before the peanut gallery pipes up about how he is kak, he still has tremendous commercial value, if nothing else.

went to harbour vs otago game. otago were quite good. well led by evans. evans had a respectable game. on the other hand, mccalister was not that great at all. his head is definitely somewhere else, left the field early with an ac joint niggle. harbour were never in it right from the start. they fell off tackles all over the place.
