Redesign Keo
20 Jan 2007
Keo.co.za will undergo a redesign. Are you the one to do it?
Contact me at Keo@hsm.co.za. We’re expanding into cricket after many of you asked where the forum was to offer those opinions you never read in the South African mainstream media.
And we’re improving our rugger coverage in the biggest year since the last time the All Blacks choked.
We have some ideas, but I know there’s some passionate Muppits out there with the skills to do a job for us. Tender for the adventure of giving Keo.co.za a new look.

19 Jan 2007, 00:32 am
Tomsta – you feel alot safer here no doubt, the bays is a nice spot to live, just moved from St Heliers to Remuera myself.
How many SA’s on the Shore now – I heard around 40,000 – surely not though?

i always thought the only thing that makes you better than another person is your manners and behaviour. thats what we were taught
19 Jan 2007, 00:38 am
howzit kiakaha
i think the 40,000 number is for whole of nz. the north shore number is around 28,000.
i was in the mini SA, browns bay for the last 8 years, but just before xmas moved to kohimaramara, right onto the beach.
is heaps safer here, but things have changed since 98 when i got here.

Ciao Willievz
Muppits are dropping like flies.
Might call stumps as well
19 Jan 2007, 00:54 am
remuera is a big suburb. there are some nice streets yes. i guess its considered to be upmarket yes.
auckland seems to have quite a few areas that are upmarket. some on the north shore, out east and also west, remuera is central.
laterz folks
19 Jan 2007, 01:07 am
Tomsta – nah, not me, dont own no shop bro!
Kia Kaha translated means “Forever Be Strong”
Evening all – or morning here in Auckland
19 Jan 2007, 01:10 am
Tomsta – Yeah, liking the Chiefs this year, but will still support the blues all the way.
Nice win for the chiefs over Wellington – see Martin Johnson, ex England captain was there watching them train the other day, he quite often comes to NZ for holidays
19 Jan 2007, 01:49 am
kiakaha
nice,,thanks for translation.
yeah didnt johnson play some rugby here a long while back?
who would you have as your blues midfield?
luke and ice could be something special, but you cant deny the class of tuitavake. and i reckon the blues will be serious contenders this year without lavea. in my oponion he was not able to get his backs going at all. hopefully the chiefs use donald as first choice 10.
19 Jan 2007, 03:23 am
Sorry mate, popped out for a ale with some mates for lunch!
Lavea was the downfall alright – shows how much Carlos meant to the side.
Tuitavake/Luke/new boy Smith on the wing etc, with Devine at half looks solid enough, with plenty of flair.
In the forwards it could be a mixed bag, although many has been AB’s are still on teh scene, and if Nucifora’s finally allowed to coach his way, we could see some upsets – expect the first one against the Crusaders !
Martin Johnson played down the line in King Country around 1991, made the NZ u19 side that year too, damn, we nearly had him, a great player, bit of a thug at times too, but arent they all?
19 Jan 2007, 04:25 am
its a dead set requirement for the engine room to be able to hold your own. hence im stoked that robinson has made a return.
i would without floating on clouds say that the blues for the first time since carlos be good semis contenders.
they have finishers outwide. atinga can cover fullback,,so can toeavo. i think holwell will be the catalyst this season, he is extremely steady, and with flair from luke, tuitavake, david smith unleashed it could be a glimpse of the blues of old.
the loosies could be pushed against most opposition, with braid not really up there. nick williams suffering from 1st season blues still, kaino repeatedly injured. the locks look to coverd with ali, and kev and the bunch up front are strong.
i hope blues are ready to set the tournament alight this time. the competition needs them.
good luck to nucifora, the pressure is on.
19 Jan 2007, 05:52 am
All good calls Tomsta, nothing more to add, other than I hope alot more Aucklanders and harbour supporters get along and make their voices heard, we really need to leverage off the home town advantage.
Now, what are we going to about the cricket team……??
19 Jan 2007, 06:57 am
Ig, where is the Russel thread where everyone was talking on last night, it seems to have just dissappeared?
19 Jan 2007, 07:17 am
Why when scrolling down on the main page the articles about working and redesigning keo is posted again?is it because keo’s name is in the heading?
19 Jan 2007, 09:32 am
Only have 1 suggestion: Would be good to have a section where we can initiate a topic for discussion, at the moment you can only discuss existing articles.

Iemand het gister op ‘n blog so stuk geplaas van “Currie etery” ek kan nie onthou waar dit was nie.
Kan jul help?
19 Jan 2007, 09:58 am
Staal
Staal, jammer, dis die eerste blog, ‘Work for keo’.
19 Jan 2007, 10:32 am
O gaats, ek sien daai kommentaar is nie meer daar nie, my fout! Jammer Staal.
19 Jan 2007, 10:35 am
Pietman,
dit was baie komies oor die ou wat die verskillende soorte curry toets.
19 Jan 2007, 11:35 am
Kiakaha Martin Johnson spent a total of 18 months in NZ on a working holiday in his youth(and ended up marrying Colin Mead’s daughter). He is not a Kiwi and is as English as they come.
19 Jan 2007, 11:46 am
P.S Tomsta NZ public transport is mediocre but nevertheless South Africans who visit think it’s fantastic as it’s so much better than what is available in SA……
Another statistic that blows my mind ….. 1400 South Africans killed on the roads in the Dec/Jan holiday period…… second worst road toll in the world after China where road rules don’t exist. In the NZ the Dec/Jan holiday toll was 9. What is happening in SA???
19 Jan 2007, 11:50 am
How good a lock will Martin’s Johnson’s son be given his genes??
19 Jan 2007, 12:52 pm
He may be a great lock one day Delek——but he will not be a handsome one.
19 Jan 2007, 13:29 pm
lol
19 Jan 2007, 13:42 pm
I suggest a blaklist where people who dont stand good for their bets can be shamed …
Dawn can be 1st on it.
