Dunning to make Tri-Nations cut
Wallabies prop Matt Dunning will return from a leg ailment ahead of Australia’s Tri Nations opener against South Africa.
Coach Robbie Deans confirmed the Waratahs front ranker will be back in the 30-man Tri-Nations squad that will be announced on Monday. Dunning is recovering from an operation to an infected leg, and although he will miss the second French Test, he should be fit for the game against the Boks on 19 July.
Lock Dan Vickerman should also make the squad, but his ankle injury will exclude him from the game in Perth.

Starting to look better, Personally I would like to see Tequiri replaced by either Turner or Ioane. I would also like to see McImminam replace George Smith. The Props remain a problem with Greg Holmes still injured and I haven’t heard of when he will be avaialable. Theres still some mix and match with regards Full Back but the rest is looking pretty good.

Tuqiri is much better than Hynes, but so is Turner so I’d have him there on the right wing. And no Geirge Smith means no fetcher – can’t play that in todays game. McMenimem is competing with Elsom for a spot. Front row still weak and inside back channel too small.
Have your say
