Harbour’s horror run continues
27 Aug 2009
North Harbour lost their fourth consecutive New Zealand Cup match when they went down 24-22 to Southland on Thursday.
Southland rallied from a 19-10 deficit to score 14 points in the final quarter. Lock Joe Tuineau scored the visitors’ fourth try 10 minutes from time to earn his side the bonus-point victory.
Flyhalf Ben Botica scored all 22 of North Harbour’s points.
The result moves Southland to the top of the log, but there are still two full days of fifth-round action to be completed.

Congrats to Southland again. A very close competition this year.
