Wellington back to winning ways

Wellington have recovered from their Ranfurly Shield loss with an emphatic 62-19 drubbing of Counties Manukau.

A Dan Carter-inspired Canterbury beat the Lions last Saturday to win the Shield, but Wellington are back in the top four after their most recent win.

In other New Zealand Cup action, Taranaki edged North Harbour 17-13. Harbour are now just two points ahead of last-placed Counties Manukau.

Counties my team, my blood is red’n'black’white.

Come you Steelers !!!! We’re crippled by injuries at the mo, 8 1st XV players out. We desperately need a couple of wins asap to avoid the drop.

We’d be fine if everyone stopped thieving our best players. Ever since Cookie was stolen by those thieving farmers down the road, its been a 1-way train outta Puke. Jonah, gone. Donald, gone. Sivi, gone. Read, gone. Masaga, going….
