Munster trounce Treviso

Jean de Villiers scored his first points for Munster as they defeated Treviso 41-10 in Limerick.

Munster had lost their last two matches, while Treviso were coming off a shock win over Perpignan and led 10-0 here. The Irish side then scored seven tries, with the Bok centre claiming one two minutes from time, while Marius Goosen and Corniel van Zyl could not make an impact for the visitors.

Jake Boer, who has just arrived in Gloucester on a short-term contract, scored as his side were hammered 42-15 by Biarritz, while Leicester easily accounted for Viadana 46-11. London Irish, who got off to the ideal start last week, were humbled by Llanelli as they went down 27-25. BJ Botha and Robbie Diack were on the losing side as Edinburgh defeated Ulster 17-13.

Despite scoring a try, Gerhard Vosloo’s Brive went down 36-13 to Leinster.
