France hit by injury
7 Nov 2009
France loose forward Fulgence Ouedraogo has been ruled out of the Test against the Springboks next Friday.
The Montpellier flankĀ injured his shoulder in their match against Montauban on Thursday.
Interestingly coach Marc Lievremont has opted not to select either of the South African-born flankers Gerhard Vosloo or Antonie Claassen. Vosloo’s ex-Castres team-mate Ibrahim Diarra has been brought into the squad.

It looks like the French openside flank position is reserved for West African imports! But Grant10 I agree with you. I think they have the best scrum in world rugby, after Argentina!

This headline is ridiculous. It is usual that teams loose A Player. If 3 good players went down ,then this headline would mean something. ‘France lose flanker’ would be better.
Hey Spies is out. We’ll get on with it.

Well, every little bit helps …
Just watched the Leicester game. I must say, I enjoyed it. Very tense towards the end and it’s great to see the underdogs win every now and then – even against an SA XV. It meant so much more to the Leicester players than a win would have meant to the Boks.
Also, it’s amazing how people on this site blame particular players when the result goes the other way. The only Boks who need to hang their heads are the front rankers.
If we lose against France, however, I will be upset.

Well France have lost two flankers Oueadrogo and Burban as well a FH Maxime Beauxis during the two Top14 rounds played before Toulouse test match.
Have your say
