Pom prop crisis continues

David Barnes is the latest England prop to be injured ahead of their Test against Argentina on Saturday.

Barnes wasn’t in the 22 for the Australia match, but with David Wilson ruled out with a neck and shoulder injury on Monday, Barnes was expected to be elevated to the bench. He hasn’t been officially ruled out, but he left England’s training base on crutches.

Duncan Bell now looks set to start against the strong Pumas scrum, with Paul Doran-Jones expected to be in the 22. Doran-Jones has played just 266 minutes of Premiership rugby.

Julian White, Phil Vickery and Andrew Sheridan were all injured before the November internationals.

England played two of the most “un-athletic” props I have ever seen last week. Always a danger of leaking tries around the fringes with pillars like that.

Keo.co.za has always promoted uncensored views, but has never tolerated racist or crass outbursts. Come on guys and girls. If you can't moderate yourselves or each other then I am going to be forced to regulate the posts and enforce a registration process for comments. The choice is yours.
