Woodcock set to face Poms
All Blacks prop Tony Woodcock is likely to be fit to play England at Twickenham on Saturday.
Woodcock missed New Zealand’s win over Wales due to suspension, while he sat out against Italy due to a back injury. However, assistant coach Steve Hansen said his progress is positive.
‘He’s come through the week well, not as sore as he has been, he scrummed okay the other day so he should be all right for selection,’ said Hansen.
With England’s front-row crisis, Woodcock’s availability is not good news for the hosts.
The only other injury concern in the squad is wing Ben Smith, who made his debut in the 20-6 win over the Azzurri. Smith injured his thumb and will go for X-rays to determine the extent of the damage.

The scrum will be a non-event. England are good enough to hold their own, but not good enough to exert any pressure on the opposition.
World scrum rankings would read:
1. Argentina
2. Italy
3. France
4. Australia
4. Scotland
6. England
7. New Zealand
8. Wales
9. Ireland
Perhaps Samoa would sneak in above Wales if the reports of a Cardiff beasting are true.

Should add that the Boks would probably slot in at 8, just above Wales.

Castro should perhaps be given his own category given his demolition of SA & NZ in space of 8days.
Let us not forget, inarguably, that those were SA’B’ and NZ’B’ teams.
Aus above NZ is a laugh. Presume you forgot the 4 x Bledisloes.
Engl/Scotland on any ‘table’ that promotes achievement is inherently inaccurate.
Isnt the Italy scrum really Argies II ?
