Mumm rewarded

Robbie Deans has promoted Dean Mumm to the starting line-up against Wales after his impressive performance in the midweek win over Cardiff.

Mumm captained the Wallabies to a 31-3 victory against the Cardiff Blues on Tuesday, which clearly impressed Deans. The lock now replaces Mark Chisholm in the second row.

Deans also made two other changes for Saturday’s clash at the Millennium Stadium.

Digby Iaone starts ahead of Ryan Cross in the midfield, while David Pocock, who was rested against Scotland, comes in for George Smith.

Wallabies – 15 Adam Ashley-Cooper, 14 Peter Hynes, 13 Quade Cooper, 12 Digby Ioane, 11 Drew Mitchell, 10 Matt Giteau, 9 Will Genia, 8 Wycliff Palu, 7 David Pocock, 6 Rocky Elsom (c), 5 Dean Mumm, 4 James Horwill, 3 Ben Alexander, 2 Stephen Moore, 1 Benn Robinson.
Subs: 16 Tatafu Polota-Nau, 17 Matt Dunning, 18 Mark Chisholm, 19 George Smith, 20 Luke Burgess, 21 James O’Connor, 22 Kurtley Beale.
