Polokwane to host Gauteng warm-up
1 Dec 2009
The Bulls will play the Lions in a warm-up match at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on 23 January.
The Bulls have already begun their preparations for next year’s Super 14 tournament where they will look to defend their title. Apart from the Springboks, who have been granted a rest after their three-Test tour of Europe, most of the squad are already training.
They will hold a training camp in George from 7 to 18 December before they break for the Christmas period. Thereafter, they’ll build towards this warm-up game in Polokwane.

I am sure the players will enjoy their 50 day break…. I am sure their bodies will recover marvelously…

Good initiative this, bring the game to the people. Think it would be better to have it held in a traditionally rugby mad area like the Eastern Cape which rarely sees top-flight teams. Nevertheless, good stuff

The Bulls should leave Gauteng and play all their matches here in the old NTVL. There is room for only 1 (one, een) union in Gauteng … the 120 year old union. Yes folks Gauteng = Lions country. Oh it is true.
So bully boys pack your bags and move!

I see they want to ritually slaughter a Bull at all the new WC stadiums. Please make your personal nominations here.
