O’Gara boots Perpignan
Ronan O’Gara kicked all Munster’s points in their 24-23 win over Perpignan in the European Cup at Thomond Park.
Perpignan score all three tries in the match, their final one a brilliant solo effort from Philip Burger that looked to have sealed the result, but the French club couldn’t stem O’Gara’s boot, which yielded seven penalties and a drop. The result puts Munster in a strong position in their group four points ahead, but the qualifiers have yet to be confirmed.
Meanwhile, Glasgow annihilated Gloucester 33-11, 27 of which came in the first half.

sad day when a team scores 3 tries and concedes zip and still loses.i think it was 20 penalties against the french and only 6 for munster.i guess if you not disciplined you will end up losing.

Philip Burger’s try was brilliant, then he still teased the crowd afterwards. Lol! What a character!

Munster were awful, but Perpignan clearly don’t have the maturity to win games like this. Even with 4 minutes to go and Munster in the lead by one, Burger decided to kick the ball away and waste another minute when he should have been getting prepared to defend the next Munster attack. I can’t imagine they’ll have it so easy next week.

@anylayman: LOL! It was so funny when he scored his try (great try!). The guy just doesn’t change. If he had a better attitude, he could be a great player! He has some serious issues!

@anylayman: The game would have suited JdV. Bad decision to leave him out. I thought Wian du Preez did well in his first game. The Munster 3 prop were penalised a few times, but Wian stood his ground. Good work in the loose 2.

Cant wait for the S14! I have Bulls, Stormers, and Sharks in the top 6. Wouldn’t that be great! Now we just need the Cheetahs and Lions to step up and we can have all our teamns in the top 10!

@ Rage
So you remember the tries Flippie Burger scored against the Bulls, all long range tries.
And Saturday he did it again, That is one brilliant try I will remember for a long time. why is the dude not in the springbok team. We don’t have game breakers like that to turn a game upside down and win it for us…
