Ulster upset Stade
Ulster scored a massive 23-13 victory over French giants Stade Francais on Saturday.
The Irish outfit, without Springbok tighthead BJ Botha, completely outplayed their opponents. Stade managed to score a try at the end which was converted by reserve scrumhalf Noel Oelschig, but it only served to add some respectability to the scoreline.
In other European Cup matches, Ospreys hammered Viadana 62-7 while Marius Goosen scored a try and kicked a drop goal in Treviso’s 30-18 defeat to Northampton Saints.
Leinster managed a comfortable 32-7 win over Scarlets while London Irish also breezed past Brive with a 36-3 win. Cardiff edged Shaun Sowerby’s Toulouse 15-9.

23-13 is only a 10 point margin. Two scores. Hardly “massive”?

@TheTackler: I think JC meant massive in terms of it’s importance and in view that Ulster are one of the weaker Irish provinces with Stade being one of the stronger French sides. If he didn’t mean that, then I agree with you, it’s an overstatement.
