Botha is a great player in his prime and cannot be put under the same class as Bandiso, some good years off to say the truth. No doupt Bandiso has the talent but common. First he is still youmg in terms of a tight fiver and has a big problem with line troughing which is something you don’t need match practice with. Obviously the bulls see potential and is working on his weakness’(as they usually do before giving them such a big role and so also ensure the player doesn’t have a meltdown like Solly, Morne Steyn rings a bell anyone) why give a second rate a contract if you don’t feel he can play.

XhosaKid! Why don’t you go and ask the Stormers why they play Fijians and not play local kids and buy lions player when they have coloured outside centres who mind you has been picked for a springbok tour.

@gunther: i detect a certain level of frothing @ the mouth, calm down. xhosakid has put post 18 and followed it up with the diamond analogy to show what he thinks of the situation. So i'm asking xhosakid why does bandise keep renewing a contract with a team that does not value his abilities? (in xhosakid's opinion) If one is working for, let us say, investec and he/she think they are better that some of the okes that are getting promotions and they keep getting skipped for some reason, it would be sensible for them to first find out what the story is and if if they re not satisfied with the answers, not renew their contract and move elsewhere where their skills will be appreciated.
