I think its becoming patently clear that the Lions are just trying to do the maximum damage possible now. Not deserving? Yes the Lions structures haven't been the best they have lost great players in recent times to other teams. Habana, Fourie just two examples of players that will play against the team they started their careers with, this upcoming weekend when the Lions play WP. As for not playing S14? the Cheetahs’ 2009 Super 14 campaign started with 7 consecutive defeats and finished last, seven log points behind the 13th-placed Reds. I know Lions fans have to go through this "buidling a team", "going to be a better team, "making changes" stories every year. Putting up a fight against players and other unions not honouring contracts is a start. I hope the Lions can have a moral victory with this one, remeber when Luke Watson was sidelined due to a similar contractual issue when moving to WP? @WPW some facts? Not deserving?
