Mumbai master Rajasthan

Sachin Tendulkar proved the difference yet again in the Indians’ 37-run win over the Royals in Jaipur.

The Little Master continues to dominate bowlers in this year’s IPL. Tendulkar smacked 89 off 59 deliveries, an innings that included 10 4s and 2 6s. JP Duminy weighed in with a measured 31 off 32 while the aggressive Kieron Pollard joined Tendulkar in blasting Rajasthan at the death.

The Royals’ run-chase stuttered as they lost their top four batsmen for only 34 runs. Tight bowling exacerbated the desperate situation for Rajasthan, as three of their batsmen were run out.

Adam Voges and Aditya Dole played well down the order, but the Royals were never able to fully recover from their disastrous start to the innings.

Mumbai – 174-5 (20 overs)
Sachin Tendulkar 89*, JP Duminy 31, Shane Watson 3-37.
Rajasthan – 137-8 (20 overs)
Aditya Dole 30*, Adam Voges 28, Zaheer Khan 2-17.
Mumbai won by 37 runs
