Mumbai blast past Bangalore

A strong batting performance from the Mumbai Indians secured a 57-run win over the Royal Challengers Bangalore on Saturday.
Sachin Tendulkar fell for 19 but Ryan McLaren (40) excelled in his opening role for Mumbai as he combined well with A Rayudu (46) for a 69-run second-wicket partnership.
Kieron Pollard smashed three consecutive sixes in his late cameo but it was JP Duminy who helped the Indians reach 191-4 off their allotted 20 overs. The Proteas batsman starred at the death as he scored 42* off 19 balls.
Bangalore needed a few big individual contributions but their top order failed to fire as they slumped to 74-5 off 11 overs. Virat Kohli top scored with 37 off 24 balls as the Royal Challengers ended on a disappointing 134-9 off their 20 overs.
