Toulouse surge into Euro Cup final

Daan Human excelled in Toulouse’s 26-16 victory over Leinster in the European Cup semi-final.

The former Springbok loosehead prop hasn’t been the first choice No 1 for Toulouse this season, but produced a performance of the highest calibre to strengthen his case for inclusion in the run-on side for the final.

Human bullied CJ van der Linde, a first half substitute, forcing the former Cheetahs heavy to be replaced late in the match. Shaun Sowerby also impressed, the No 8 carrying strongly.

David Skrela scored 21 points for Toulouse, while Yannick Jauzion continued his excellent form, scoring the game’s opening try.

Agreed on Human. Toulouse, with Human excellent at 1, annihilated the current Europeans champs scrum, so much so that current Ireland prop Healy got taken off after 25min to be replaced by CJ. Stan Wright moved to from 3 to 1, CJ then moved to 3, up against Human. And Human killed him, CJ looked pretty dispondent when taken off towards the end of the game.

France has won the 5 nation with a super powerfull scrum….Toulouse has won against Leinster with a super powerfull scrum. Daan Human is among the top 3 most powerfull scrmmager in the world of rugby. Human should play 60 minutes and then release Beast for the final 20 minutes.
Actually I would start with BJ Botha, Smit and Human and then Bismark and Beast coming on off the bench.
