Waterkloof floor Florida
16 May 2011
Waterkloof, in the absence of Affies, ruled the schools weekend in Gauteng.
Affies and Waterkloof are the two strongest sides from Gauteng this season and all eyes were on Affies’s visit to Grey College. Unfortunately the match was postponed because of waterlogged fields and the two sides will play on June 16.
Waterkloof, who were edged 21-16 by Grey College a few weeks ago, hosted Florida and smashed the Johannesburg visitors 48-7.
Menlopark were also comfortable 35-10 winners in their derby match against St Alban’s, while Pretoria Boys High dealt with Jeppe and KES were too strong for St Stithians.
Monument also won easily against Marais Viljoen.

I know Marais Erasmus is a dodgy umpire but surely he doesn’t deserve to be walloped by the whole of Monument – lol, I think you mean Marais Viljoen.

The inimitable Theo Garrun. Now there’s a name I hadn’t heard for at least a decade. Nice to know he’s still around. G
Have your say
