Jean-Luc Du Plessis expected to return for Stormers, while Roelof Smit unavailable for Bulls due to injury
Flyhalf Jean-Luc Du Plessis is expected to return to action in the Stormers must-win clash against the Rebels this Friday. While the Bulls with be without opensider Roelof Smit.
Du Plessis played his first competitive match in over a year on Sunday, for Western Province, steering them to a 59-12 win over the Elephants, scoring two tries and remaining injury free for the match.
The Bulls however have suffered a loss of their opened flank Roelof Smit, who picked up a head injury in their win against the Rebels on Saturday. On a more positive note for the Pretoria side, wing Travis Ismaiel and loose forward Nick De Jager are returning from respective back and rib injuries and are available for selection for Saturday’s clash against the Highlanders.
