Kolisi nominated for Laureus Sporting Moment of the Month
Siya Kolisi’s historical accomplishment in his selection as the first ever black Springbok captain has been nominated as one of four Laureus Sporting Moments of the Month for June.
Kolisi subsequently led the Boks to a 2-1 series victory over England, pulling the side out of their slump form last year. Laureus, recognising the significance of the moment in the context of South African rugby history, have nominated Kolisi alongside three other sporting moments of the month world wide.
The winners will be decided by a public vote with the overall winner to be announced at the 2019 Laureus World Sports Awards.
