Bulls bolstered by return of key players
The Bulls have welcomed back some key players from injury, ahead of their 2019 Super Rugby season.
Flanker Roelof Smit returns from a serious knee injury while winger Travis Ismaiel has recovered from shoulder surgery.
Full fitness has also been declared for Bok fullback Warrick Gelant, as well as Tim Agaba (flank) and Liza Gqoboka (loosehead prop).
Flyhalf Marnitz Boshoff, who formerly played for the Boks, as well as the 2018 season-find flanker Marco Van Staden, will return only in April.
Hooker Edgar Marutlulle is also out of action for the tournament’s first month, with an ankle injury while other hooker Jaco Visage is recovering too from an ankle injury upon his return to Cape Town from Gloucester.
The Bulls will open their Super Rugby season against the Stormers at Loftus on February 19th
