Stormers to scalp Chiefs
The Stormers will beat the Chiefs by 7-10 points in Saturday’s Super Rugby’s semi-final at Newlands.
What do you think of my Sport24 column detailing why I think the Stormers will win and why I think the Chiefs are overrated?
The same eight teams that played the 2016 Super Rugby quarter-finals are again involved in the 2017 last eight. Only this time, the results will be different.
The Stormers lost to the Chiefs at Newlands 60-21 in the 2016 quarter-final and have lost seven of their eight play-off matches at Newlands.
Earlier this year the Stormers beat the Chiefs 34-26 at Newlands in one of the matches of the season.
Defending champions, the Hurricanes, travel to Canberra to play the Brumbies. The winner of this match will play the winner of the Lions versus the Sharks.
The Stormers, with a win against the Chiefs, will travel to New Zealand to play one of the Crusaders or the Highlanders.
