Italian sports brand giants Macron partner with Keo & Zels
Italian sports brand giants Macron have partnered with Keo & Zels and Keo.co.za as it continues its expansion into the South African rugby landscape.
The partnership, confirmed in June, 2025, is for five years until June, 2030.
Keo & Zels, the popular rugby podcast will celebrate its 100th show next week.
The show has been viewed 60 million times on SA Rugby Mag social media and digital media platforms since its launch two years ago.
Macron’s global rugby footprint includes the Barbarians, who will play the Springboks in a historic first ever meeting in South Africa on 28th June. The match is at the DHL Stadium in Cape Town.
Macron’s other international rugby partners include the EPCR, Major League Rugby in the United States, USA Rugby, the national teams of Canada, Italy, Georgia, Scotland, Wales, Portugal, Samoa and several club teams in the northern hemisphere, the Lions and Cheetahs in South Africa, as well as many of South Africa’s leading schools rugby teams, most notably the country’s No 1 ranked team in 2025, Paarl Gimnasium.
In all, they are partners to 28 rugby clubs in the northern and Southern Hemisphere and 14 national teams.
Macron earlier this year also confirmed a five year technical partner partnership with Cricket South Africa and the Proteas National team, which last weekend won the World Test Championship final in beating Australia at Lords.

This five-year partnership affords the Italian brand exclusive rights to manufacture playing and training kits for the Proteas Men’s, Proteas Women’s, and development teams. The agreement also covers the production of fan merchandise and CSA staff apparel.
