Jaguares seal second spot with final-round rout of Sunwolves
Japanese visitors the Sunwolves were no match for the in-form Jaguares, who ran in eight tries to two in Buenos Aires on Friday.
The Jaguares thrashed the Sunwolves 52-10 in the final round of Super Rugby to secure second spot ahead of the quarter-finals.
Japanese visitors the Sunwolves were no match for the in-form Jaguares, who ran in eight tries to two in Buenos Aires on Friday.
Jaguares pair Sebastian Cancelliere and Julian Montoya scored two tries apiece as the Argentine hosts held a 21-10 half-time lead at Estadio Jose Amalfitani.
It was one-way traffic in the second half after the Sunwolves lost a second hooker to injury which forced scrums to go uncontested and they had to drop a player for the remaining 33 minutes.
