Everyone’s tuning into Sacha FM – rugby’s hottest frequency
Sacha FM was the go-to frequency for South African supporters. Is it Saffa bias or just stating the obvious for best try-assist on the rugby planet this past weekend?
We cover the Vodacom United Rugby Championship, the Top 14, the Premiership, Super Rugby Pacific and Japan’s Lique 1 in our weekly preview and review newsletters.
We cast the net wide and then we put it to the vote on our WhatsApp channel. Just to get a bit of a teaser on an Eastern Weekend, when most will only be focusing on the rugger midweek.
If you missed the weekend’s action we’ve narrowed the try-assist down to one from the URC, one from the Premiership and one from Super Rugby Pacific. The groans from the Top 14 will be louder than from Japan, but not any less relevant. Each weekend there are fantastic try-assist passes made.
This past weekend, though, was something special, none more so than DHL Stormers No 10, our very own, Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu.
Why? His was calculated, the other two, sensational on the eye, were speculators. They could have gone anywhere.
