Boshaai-less SA Schools slip again
The SA Schools slipped up for the second match in succession of the International U19 series being played in the Western Cape.
Paarl Boys High, unbeaten in 53 matches in South Africa in the last three seasons, did not have one starting player in the run on XV and only flanker Vian Fourie was deemed good enough to make the match-day squad.
Western Province, whose Schools Premier Division is considered the toughest in the country, had only one representative in the run on XV.
The SA Schools, beaten 30-28 by Wales in Saturday’s opener, lost 13-8 to France to end any prospect of winning the quadrangular featuring South Africa, France, Wales and England.
