In-demand Hogg hints at Glasgow exit
Stuart Hogg’s contract expires next year and the Scotland full-back is weighing up his options.
Stuart Hogg hinted he could leave Glasgow Warriors when his contract expires next year.
The Scotland full-back has been linked with a move to Top 14 big spenders Montpellier, who are coached by his former international boss Vern Cotter.
Hogg, currently sidelined as he recovers from ankle surgery, has not decided where his future lies but is very much interested in the prospect of plying his trade outside of his homeland.
“I’d love to travel at some point and experience other things,” the 26-year-old British and Irish Lion told BBC Radio Scotland’s Sportsound.
“Is the time now? I don’t know. There’s a little bit of interest from other places.
“There’s three things that I go by. It’s family, lifestyle and then rugby. That’s the order.
“I need to be in a position to look after my family.”
