Ledesma makes 10 changes as Pumas face Leguizamon
A much-changed Argentina outfit will look to bring down the curtain on a strong 12 months in style against Barbarians in London on Saturday.
Mario Ledesma has made 10 changes to the Argentina team that lost to Scotland as the Pumas prepare to tackle the Barbarians and Juan Manuel Leguizamon.
Argentina have enjoyed a fine year, securing big wins over South Africa and Australia, although they lost each of their three Tests in November to Ireland, France and Scotland respectively.
Ledesma’s men take on the Barbarians in their final match of the year, with Rassie Erasmus naming New Zealand’s Wyatt Crockett as captain and including Pumas great Leguizamon in his side.
Flanker Leguizamon played for his country as recently as October against the Wallabies.
An experimental Argentina side sees Juan Cruz Mallia handed his first start, as Ramiro Moyano is the only back to keep his place from the Scotland game.
Juan Pablo Zeiss is also in from the start for the first time at Twickenham, while youngsters Mayco Vivas, Santiago Grondona and Santiago Carreras could all debut from the bench.
