Rassie’s Boks live rent-free in New Zealand

In the world of global rugby podcasts, Rassie Erasmus and the Springboks live rent-free in the New Zealand landscape, while in South Africa, Keo & Zels have no doubt the Boks can win back-to-back Tests against the All Blacks in the first fortnight of September.
The Boks play Georgia on Saturday in their final hit-out of the July international Test window, and host Australia’s Wallabies in Johannesburg and Cape Town on the 14th and 23rd August.
The biggest fortnight of the Test season is when the Springboks play the All Blacks, with the first Test at Eden Park in Auckland. The All Blacks are unbeaten in 50 Tests, 48 wins and two draws, dating back to the 1994 last minute defeat to France.
An 18-all draw followed against the Springboks that season, in the third and final Test of a series won two-nil by the All Blacks.
The British & Irish Lions, in 2017, also drew 15-all in the third and final Test, as the three-Test series was drawn with one win each.
Outside of these two draws, it has been all New Zealand at Eden Park.
The Lions are the biggest event in Test rugby in July, with Saturday’s three-Test series opener against the Wallabies in Brisbane the premier match of the weekend.
