Sonny Bill Williams enrolls at University

Sonny Bill Williams looks set to add another achievement to his already impressive list, as the All Blacks centre has enrolled at Otago Polytechnic to do a bachelor’s degree in Applied Management.

According to BBC website, Williams will study alongside nine other Blues teammates.

Glenys Ker, who will be leading the course, emphasised that the All Black would be treated “no different to any other student”.

“I understand that sport is a big part of their lives – it is their career – and they have actually achieved a lot of things, both in and out of sport,” she said.

“They are beautiful writers.

“Their ability to reflect on what they do, what they have done, who they are and who they want to be… it’s a real privilege to gain such insights.”

Williams aims to have completed his studies by April, 2019, therein adding academic accomplishment to a long list of sporting excellence. He also sits on 47 caps for the All Blacks, meaning he will most likely reach the half century mark this year, barring injury.
