Edwards joins Ospreys in consultancy role
Wales assistant coach Shaun Edwards will juggle his international commitments with a role at the Ospreys in the Pro14 this season.
Shaun Edwards will join the Ospreys in a consultancy role for the coming Pro14 season.
The former Wasps boss will continue to serve as Wales’ assistant coach as he works with the Ospreys at club level, joining the team for their pre-season preparations in Portugal this week.
And Allen Clarke, the Ospreys’ head coach, is excited by the prospect of working with Edwards.
“Shaun is a world class coach” he said. “I wanted to bring him in because we know his strengths and how they will complement the existing coaching team here at the Ospreys.
“His knowledge and experience is unrivalled and his CV speaks for itself.”
