Boks bow to Wales
The Springboks ended their 2018 year with a weak, ill-disciplined performance against Wales in Cardiff, which saw them defeated 20-11.
The Boks spent the whole match playing catch up after finding themselves 14-0 down in the first 15 minutes. They didn’t help their cause through giving away stupid penalties at crucial moments in the game.
Half time saw the Boks trailing 14-3.
Jesse Kriel managed to dot down and Elton Jantjies added a penalty which saw the Boks close the gap to 14-11 with 20 minutes to play.
Unfortunately, The South Africans could add no further points, while the Welsh extended their lead to 20-11 and closed out the match for their 4th consecutive win over the Springboks in Cardiff.
