Pollard injury scare
There is injury concern around flyhalf Handre Pollard as the Bulls prepare for their match against the Lions on Saturday.
According to Bulls team doctor Herman Rossouw, Pollard sat out the Monday training session following due to injury suffered in their 43-34 win over the Jaguares at Loftus Versfeld.
“Handre Pollard picked up an issue with his back. We’ll keep a close eye on his progress during the week,” Rossouw said.
Captain Burger Odendaal and wing Travis Ismaiel are still recovering from injury, while lock Jason Jenkins will be monitored later in the week following the calf contusion which saw him miss the Jaguars clash.
Trevor Nyakane has started with selective training sessions but won’t be considered for this weekend.
