Six Nations teams round 3

The Six Nations rolls into round three as France take on Italy at home, Ireland clash with Wales in Dublin and England travel to Edinburgh to take on the Scots. 

France will be looking for not only their first Six Nations win this year, but their first win under coach Brunel since he took over in late 2017. While it would seem a given against a weak Italian side, France are without eight of their choice players, who were suspended following an incident after their last game.

Ireland lead the log with 39 points, only two ahead of England who are favourites to win against Scotland this weekend. They’ll need to put in a big home performance against a strong Welsh side, who boast an imposing bench, in order to hold onto their lead.

England travel to Scotland after a week of hard preparation and scrum training against the Georgian pack. While the match promises to be a physical display of rugby, England’s selection consistency (with only one change) and form should see them put the Scots away comfortably.
