Timely bye for wounded Lions
The Lions welcome their upcoming bye, as they picked up several new injuries in their 31-24 loss to the Sharks over the weekend
Luckily, the side is scheduled for a bye this weekend before before ending the regular season with a debt against the Bulls at home. Most of the injury concerns are expected to be recovered by then.
Lock Marvin Orie suffered a concussion while flyhalf Elton Gantries struggles with a rib injury. Prop Dylan Smith picked up a grade 1 calf strain but is expected to be fully recovered for the Bulls clash.
Sylvian Mahuza, who was not a part of the squad against the Sharks is likely to be available against the bulls having recovered from his hip injury by then.
However flank Len Massyn has a grade 2 ankle tear and will not be available for the next two weekend.
