Exeter break Sarries’ Premiership try record
With Ollie Devoto’s try against Harlequins on Saturday, Exeter Chiefs crossed in a record 72nd consecutive Premiership match.
Exeter Chiefs have broken Saracens’ all-time Premiership record by scoring a try in 72 consecutive matches.
Sarries’ own run of tries in 71 straight games only came to an end at the start of March, but it has already been broken by Exeter.
The Chiefs scored inside two minutes against Harlequins on Saturday to set the new benchmark, with Ollie Devoto touching down at Sandy Park.
Table-topping Exeter play second-placed Sarries in their next Premiership fixture and will hope to boost their streak further against the previous record-holders.
