Brumbies sink Sunwolves to make it five in a row
Henry Speight scored twice as the Sunwolves were outclassed by the in-form Brumbies at GIO Stadium in Super Rugby.
The Brumbies chalked up a fifth consecutive home Super Rugby victory with a convincing 33-0 triumph over the lowly Sunwolves on Sunday.
Having put the Chiefs, Waratahs, Lions and Blues to the sword in Canberra, the Brumbies ran in five tries against the Sunwolves to reach the top of the Australian Conference.
A counter-attacking score from Henry Speight started the rout, while Tevita Kuridrani – restored to the starting line-up – set up Joe Powell for another long-distance score at GIO Stadium.
The Brumbies worked one wide for Speight’s second after 27 minutes and there was little let up after the break as Tom Banks touched down.

Pete Samu rounded out the win with 15 minutes remaining as the Brumbies moved one point clear in the Australian standings, albeit the second-placed Rebels have a game in hand.
