Friday’s Super Rugby: Chiefs make a statement, Brumbies roll on and Reds come short
The Brumbies rolled the Sunwolves 47-14, while the Reds came just short of the Crusaders in a 24-20 defeat and the Chiefs hammered home-side Waratahs 51-14
Brumbies v Sunwolves: 47-14
Another week, another pumping for the Sunwolves, who appear to have had only one game in them, that being their opening win over the Rebels. The Brumbies comfortably knocked them over in Wollongong by 33 points.

Crusaders v Reds: 24-20
Up in Christchurch the Reds put on an entertaining display against the Crusaders, disrupting their flow and looking at times like they could pull off an away win. Unfortunately the Reds were denied an overtime victory through relentless defence from the home side.

Chiefs v Waratahs: 51-14
The Chiefs started strong, the Waratahs put up a fight into half time, but the Chiefs just got stronger and stronger and after trailing 14-13 at halftime, went to on to hammer the Tahs 51-14, going on a try scoring roll in the first 20 minutes of the second half.
