Ethan ‘the Tank’ Adams is the STECO Hybrid Power Tool Hero of the Week
Powerhouse Junior Springboks centre gets Zels’ vote for a third time this season.
Ethan ‘the Tank’ Adams is the STECO Hybrid Power Tool Power Play Moment of the Week.
STECO Hybrid Power Tool of the Week
On the Keo & Zels Show, a player is identified whose performance is of a hybrid nature, multi-faceted and embodies everything about STECO’s Hybrid Power Tool Range.
We always look primarily to South Africans who are doing well, and the game we focused on this week is the Junior Springboks opening the defence of their world championship against Uruguay.
They won 104-7. I know Zels has a particular favourite, and he’s going to tell you who it is.
Zels: Ethan Adams, mate. A man amongst boys. He is continuing to do what he does.
They scored a billion tries against Uruguay. Jordan Steenkamp had a great game on the wing. And on the other wing Risima Xhosa who also scored a hat-trick.
But Ethan Adams was just throwing guys around like Obelix. It was insane. He is a power athlete, and he has great feet for a guy his size.
He took a little chip kick and absolutely stepped one of the chasers. He was through and gone. He is a phenomenal player. I think they’re calling him “The Tank” now, and he’s a power unit.
He is my Hybrid Power Tools Hero of the Week.
Keo: There you heard it from Zels, and I never argue with Zels when it comes to the Steco Hybrid Award.
This is the third time Zels had picked Adams for the STECO award.
The nice thing we’re going to do from next week onwards, in partnership with Steco as well, is that there will be a cash voucher every week. Then every month there will be a cash voucher, and then there will be a really nice bigger prize at the end of the Bok season.
So stay tuned. Go to our WhatsApp channel and go to SA Rugby socials to see how to enter to win 2 tickets for Springboks v England.
There are always things to be won and things to be given away on this show.
Thanks to all the sponsors involved in this particular one. Thanks so much to STECO.
For the record: Junior Springboks points scorers v Uruguay: JUNIOR SPRINGBOKS – Tries: Markus Muller, Jordan Steenkamp (3), penalty try, Risima Khosa (3), Ethan Adams, Khuthadzo Rasivhaga (2), Cheswill Jooste, Jayden Brits (2), Siphosetho Mnebelele, Gert Kemp.
