Fan tries to grapple with Tui as frustrations boil over following Australia defeat
Frustrations boiled over after Australia’s loss to Argentina, with Lukhan Tui involved in an altercation with a fan.
Australia’s Rugby Championship defeat to Argentina was marred by unsavoury scenes with video footage emerging of a fan in an altercation with Lukhan Tui.
The Wallabies lost 23-19 in Saturday’s contest on the Gold Coast to suffer a home defeat to the Pumas for the first time in 35 years.
It means Michael Cheika’s side have now won just once in three Rugby Championship fixtures this season and frustrations boiled over at full-time – a fan exchanging verbals with Tui before appearing to grapple with the flanker.
The fan was shown being wrested away by a fellow spectator, as players tried to assuage the situation.
