Hogg confident of fitting Glasgow farewell
Exeter Chiefs-bound Scotland full-back Stuart Hogg knows Glasgow Warriors will have to be at their best to see off Ulster.
Stuart Hogg is confident he can leave Glasgow Warriors on the back of a Top 14 triumph at Celtic Park but knows they face an “enormous” challenge against Ulster.
The Warriors and Ulster will do battle in the semi-final at Scotstoun on Friday.
Hogg will leave Glasgow to join Exeter Chiefs at the end of the season and the Scotland full-back is determined to enjoy a fitting farewell.
“All season we’ve been in a position to win trophies, with the final being in Glasgow it’s something we have targeted throughout the season,” Land Rover ambassador Hogg told Omnisport.
“We have given ourselves every opportunity to play in that final, it’s just a matter of us going out there come Friday night and taking on an incredibly tough Ulster team that hopefully we can get a result from.

“We know it’s going to be an enormous task, they are a terrific team with some world-class individuals within the squad that we will have to be on the money in defence to shut down.
“It’s a very exciting time for us Glasgow boys and we’ll do all we can to make sure we can to lift the trophy.
“We truly believe that on our day we can beat anyone. We need to be on it for the whole 90 minutes on both sides of the ball, make sure we execute our game plan. We know the size of the task but we are confident we can do it.”
