No offers for Bulls head coach Mitchell amid England links
John Mitchell is reportedly a target for England’s new defensive coach, but the Bulls say they have received no offers.
The Bulls revealed they have received no formal offers for head coach John Mitchell amid reported interest from England.
Mitchell had been said to be a target for England to replace Paul Gustard as the team’s defensive coach following his move to Harlequins.
But, while the coach told the Bulls of interest, the club insist there has been no firm approach.
“The BBCo [Blue Bulls Company] would like to confirm that John Mitchell informed us that interest was shown in his services,” the club posted on Twitter.

The Bulls finished bottom of the South African Conference in Super Rugby this season.
