Kelleher treble leads Leinster rout as the Scarlets shade Warriors
Leinster’s 21-year-old hooker Ronan Kelleher ran in a hat-trick in their thrashing of the Ospreys, while the Scarlets saw held off Glasgow.
Ronan Kelleher enjoyed a memorable outing in Leinster’s 53-5 Pro14 demolition of the Ospreys.
The 21-year-old hooker ran in his first tries in senior rugby to end the match with a hat-trick.
Fergus McFadden and Joe Tomane also claimed first-half scores, with Max Deegan, Harry Byrne and Michael Milne on hand to pile on more misery.
Ross Byrne added 11 points with the boot, while Harry Byrne kicked a conversion of his own, with Luke Morgan’s 72nd-minute try scant consolation for the visitors.

An early second-half flurry proved decisive for the Scarlets as they held off Glasgow Warriors to claim a thrilling 25-21 triumph – joining Leinster in starting the season with back-to-back wins.
Kieran Hardy, Paul Asquith and Steff Evans all crossed in the space of six minutes shortly after the break for the Welsh region.
Brandon Thomson had kicked the hosts into a 9-6 lead before the onslaught began and the fly-half was integral to the Glasgow response when he converted his 64th-minute try.
Thomson could not add the extras when Stafford McDowall went over from Huw Jones’ wonderful off-load and the Scarlets held on to their four-point advantage under sustained late pressure.
